| On Monday, 3 February 2003, Charmian and I visited Alan's flat in Holland Park, London. For me it was an eerie experience: to visit the flat without Alan there. There was much memorabilia of Alan, photographs, posters together with various sketchers and paintings. The flat will shortly be put on the market and the memorabilia dispersed. It would be nice to archived it in its entirety at its present location as a "shrine" to this man who meant so much to me and my wife.
